In an exclusive interview with his new website, he stated that the buy was a follow-through promise made on his final hand; that prize money gained from the event would be put towards the purchase of www.Poker.ca. Such a statement may be a hint that the buyer had been saving up for a while in order to place his bid, or it may have been a wild impulse. Until his true identity is revealed, we can only speculate.
Even a passing look at the website itself can explain why it was able to command such a high purchase price. The website is well laid-out, with easily accessible drop-down menus and clearly-marked tabs. The home page moves with vivid colour and eye-catching displays. The domain serves a duel purpose, acting as both a news source and providing visitors with a wealth of tips and tricks for the games provided.
